Print Target and Vision Target are complex software packages carrying out image analytical evaluations on high resolution scans or digital images. Print Target is especially practical for the print media sector; Vision Target is used in different industrial fields. The software can be run offline or online depending on the image’s origin.

Print Target is a powerful and versatile image analysis tool encompassing image analysis on high resolution pictures or scans. Print Target can be used for the control of digital printing maschines (ink-jet) and flexo printing machines etc. Print Target contains serially three basic modules:

  • Surface- and Transmission-Structure-Analysis
  • Dirt counting and Dot Quality Measurement
  • Reflectivity Measurement

Print Target allows the user to create customized analysis routines tailored to the user’s specific requirements.
Each routine is saved as a custom configuration file that can then become company-wide standard. Configuration files can be distributed to labs owning Print Target software.
The use of pre-configured tests allows performing standardized tests in the daily laboratory work. Results are independent of humans physical and psychological influences. The results can easily be exported to MS Excel or into pre-configured charts.

  • AoI-measurement, comparison with specifications
  • Structure measurement with topographical measurement

  • Determination of defects
  • Process control (e. g. foaming characteristics of foamed material, measurement of membranes, growth of cell cultures, etc.)
  • Particle analysis (e. d. determination of von security-, textile-, pulp-fibres, blood cells, etc.)

Vision Target as a very efficient software can be adapted to special requirements and be integrated in production processes. Scope of application: automotive sector, pharmaceutics industry, textile processing, documentary production etc.
